MOUNT MORRIS – Steven A. Gann, 68 passed away in his home on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019. Born Sept. 29, 1950 in Freeport, to Walter F. Gann and Lota I. Osborne.
Steven graduated from Oregon High School in 1970. While employed at Chrysler Corp in Belvidere he served in the Vietnam War. After returning from Korea, he returned to Chrysler and retired from there. He enjoyed his years in Mount Morris and loved to share stories with his many friends and family. Steven passed in his home at 313 E Lincoln. It is suggested that, in leu of flowers that money be donated to the Oregon Future Farmers of America, Oregon. High School Chapter. Steven was always a farmer at heart!
Steven is survived by his sister, Debbie (David) Gann Flannery, his special friend, Sue Wright and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Judith K Gann-Snook and brother Larry E. Gann.
Services were held at Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mount Morris, on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Visitation was at 10 a.m., the service at 11 a.m.; and he will be laid to rest at Silver Creek Cemetery.
Everyone was welcomed to go to Maggie’s in Mount Morris afterward to celebrate the adventures of Steven A. Gann!
