CHARLESTON — The Byron High School girls track and field team sent multiple student-athletes to the IHSA State Championships at Eastern Illinois University this past weekend.
Ashley Potter finished 18th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.05, while the 1600-meter relay team of Skylar Palmgren, Abby Connell, Neve Schilling and Ashley Potter finished 23rd with a time of 4:14.18.
