CHARLESTON — The Stillman Valley High School girls track and field team sent two athletes to the IHSA State Championships at Eastern Illinois University earlier this month.
Freshman Makinzie Lamb finished 23rd in the 300-meter hurdles in Class 2A with a time of 49.08 seconds, while sophomore Dionyesia Cantu-Ramos took 13th in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.65 seconds.
