POLO — The Polo High School varsity girls basketball team recognized a trio of its student-athletes with Player of the Game awards during the months of December and January.
Cam Jones won the Player of the Game award after 18 points, four assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block in Polo’s 47-34 win over Oregon on Dec. 21.
Katelyn Rockwood was the Player of the Game during Polo’s 38-27 loss to Ashton-Franklin Center on Jan. 3, proving great energy and defense.
Elsa Monaco earned the Player of the Game honor with five points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals in Polo’s 37-30 win over Forreston on Jan. 5.
Jones was recognized a second time after totaling 23 points, three assists, one rebound and one steal in Polo’s 69-47 loss against Eastland on Jan. 11.
