DECATUR — The Stillman Valley Wrestling Club brought home several medals from the IKWF Intermediate/Bantam State Championships at the Decatur Civic Center in mid-March.
Among the medalists were third-place finisher Evan Ross, who won five matches, including two by fall, in the Boys Bantam 52 Division. Brycen Legue medaled in fourth place in the Boys Bantam 55 Division, winning four matches including one by fall and one by technical fall.
Liam Ross medaled in sixth in the Boys Bantam 43 Division, winning four matches including one by fall and one by major decision. Brinley Wrage medaled in seventh in the Girls Bantam 74 Division, winning four matches including one by fall and one by technical fall.
Additional state qualifiers were Awbree Corson (Girls Bantam 55), Benson Grugel (Boys Bantam 62), Landon Haak (Boys Bantam 120), Keith Stepina (Boys Intermediate 122) and Hunter Champlain (Boys Intermediate 122).
